Hello Friends,

My name is Clark Harris and I am a very special boy.

I was born with a rare genetic brain condition called Pontocerebellar Hypoplasia, Type 2.  This condition is so rare that my doctors have never worked with it; it is a learning experience for everyone.  What my doctors do say is that I will never walk or talk and that I will not be around as long as other girls and boys.  Because of this, I want to make the most of the time I do have with my mom, my dad, and my big sister Lena.

My family has decided to hold a fundraiser in my name to help us out with the big financial challenges that have happened since I came into the world.  Daddy has had to take a 6-month parental leave from his job to help mommy learn to take care of me; with him not at work, it has been tougher to make ends meet.   Along with the day to day expenses of taking care of a child with special needs, there are costly trips to SickKids in Toronto where my doctors do their best to take care of me.  The biggest thing our family needs help with right now is an exciting move we will be making into my new home. This home is going to be wheelchair accessible, a place that I can grow into with my family and make new memories.

Thank you for taking the time to read a little bit about me and my family.  We hope you can help and thank you in advance for your generosity.
